Bassinets come in a range of sizes and shapes. Search for your bassinet brand, model, or size on our website and choose the correct fit for over 70 different bassinet types.
Do universal bassinet sheets fit every bassinet? +
Because bassinets come in so many different shapes and sizes there is no such thing as a univeral bassinet sheet. Always look for your bassinets exact model or mattress size when shopping for sheets.
Why does my bassinet pad curl up or fold when I put the sheet on? +
Your fitted bassinet sheet may be too small and pulling up the corners. This is an entrapment risk even if the sheet stays on during the night. Measure your mattress to find the right size.
Can I use a crib or playard sheet on a bassinet? +
Crib and playard mattress pads are much larger than bassinet mattresses. Which means crib and playard sheets are too large for bassinets and will result in loose fabric in the sleep space.
What sheet fits an oval or hourglass-shaped bassinet mattress? +
Only an hourglass or oval shaped sheet will fit on these bassinet matresses. Rectangular cut sheets will have loose fabrics on the corners.
How many bassinet sheets do I need? +
Two is a good starting point. One on the bassinet, one in the wash. A third is good to have for emergencies.
Is it safe to put a sheet on a bassinet? +
No. Sheets can come undone and result in loose fabric in the sleep space no matter how carefully you fold, tuck, or pin them. Safe Sleep Guidance always recommends fitted sheets.
Do bassinet sheets shrink in the wash? +
Our bassinet sheets are preshrunk and will not shrink if they are washed at 30 degrees celsius. Cotton can shrink in a very hot wash or dryer, so always follow washing instructions and perform a fit check after every wash.
